Knowles will not be running

LIBERAL C Ward councillor Kelly Knowles has officially announced she will not contest the Sutherland Shire Council elections on Saturday, September 13.
“As a life-long resident of the shire I have been honoured to have served my community in this capacity over the best part of the past five years,” she said.
“Over the past few weeks I have begun to inform local Liberal Party members that I will not contesting the election.
“The shire is the best community to live in and I have enjoyed the opportunity to put something back into the place where I live and will continue to live over my lifetime.
