Yemen: 12-year-old girl dies in childbirth.
A 12-year-old Yemeni girl, who was forced into marriage, has died during a difficult delivery in which her baby also died, a children’s rights organisation said on Sunday, demanding action to stop Yemeni men taking child brides.

“These marriages are the result of poverty, ignorance and illiteracy, and lead to the destruction of the lives of these young girls, whose opinion is not taken in consideration,” Qorashi added.
The true reason that girls as young as eight are married off in Muslim countries is because such arrangements have the imprimatur of Islam. We all know that Mohammad (the inventer of Islam) married a six year old girl and consummated that marriage when the child was nine. The Islamic sources confirm that Mohammad did have a child-bride:

The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with ‘Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).
While such behaviour was not considered unusual for the period that Mohammad lived in, the rest of the world has moved on. The problem is that Mohammad is viewed as the model for Muslim behaviour and the more a Muslim is like him, the better of he will be. This means that paedophilia is enshrined in Islam and that is the real reason why child-marriages are so prevalent in Islamic countries. Once again this indicates what a filthy and perverted “religion” Islam is.
