Texas: Man beheads his 2-year-old niece, kills four other family members — his sister blames his conversion to Islam

BELLVILLE — A family dispute pushed Maron Thomas to go on a rampage marked by a fury so intense that he decapitated his 2-year-old niece with a machete after killing her and four other family members, Austin County investigators said Wednesday.Thomas, 20, was charged Wednesday with capital murder in the shooting deaths of his mother, stepfather, sister, brother and his niece. He remains in the Austin County Jail with bail set at $1 million.

“This is one of the most horrific crimes we’ve had in Austin County,” District Attorney Travis Koehn said. “Austin County is a safe place to live, but unfortunately, we are not immune to the same kinds of crimes that occur in other locations.” [...]

Thomas then allegedly burglarized a car and was arrested around 3 a.m. after being caught trying to break into a house a mile and a half away while he was naked, investigators said. A neighbor held him at gunpoint until deputies arrived and arrested him on burglary charges. When deputies arrived, he had put on a pair of exercise shorts. [...]

Killed were Thomas’ biological mother, Debra Phearse Washington, 54; stepfather, George T. Washington, 69; sister, Kiana Shree Phearse, 25; brother, Cedric Thomas, 19; and niece, Khalilah Chambers-Massey, who was Kiana Phearse’s daughter. Contrary to prior reports, Kiana Phearse was not pregnant, Austin County Sheriff’s Sgt. Paul Faircloth said.

Thomas’ sister, Ka’Tara Price, 24, of Houston, said she believes anger and Thomas’ conversion to the Muslim religion influenced his actions. She said she is not aware of him suffering from any mental illness.

“It’s anger and pure evilness,” Price said Wednesday night. “He’s always been a very angry person. If he thinks he’s right, he’s right.”…

AN Afghan man strangled his wife with her veil after complaining she was “becoming Australian”, a jury has heard.

In his opening address, Mr Rose told jurors that when Mr Azizi learned she’d talked to outsiders he told her she was shaming him and must stop.

“I’ll kill you because I can’t carry the shame,” he allegedly said when she spoke of separation or divorce.

The jury heard that about a week before his wife’s death, Mr Azizi complained to his sister-in-law that she was “becoming Australian and had changed her religion“.

Banda Aceh is the most devoutly Islamic of Indonesia’s provinces. In recent years it has introduced strict new Sharia-based laws, including a prescription for the stoning of adulterers — which has not yet been implemented.

Interesting that instead of the usual police reaction of either ignoring the street jihad incident or issuing the hollow mantra of a muslim violent attack being a “one off” this time Det Sgt Andrew Butterworth opted instead to state: “The beating this man received was brutal and those responsible should be ashamed of themselves for behaving like a pack of animals.”   Granted “ashamed of themselves” is a feeble endictment for such a despicable group of cretins but the “behaving like a pack of animals” is far closer to the mark than most police spokesmen have been previously willing to state.

Could it be that at least some of the police are getting as fed up with these savage muslim street jihadists as the rest of the British population?  ‘Bout time.

Now where is the national mainstream media?
Man beaten in ‘brutal’ race attack

A MAN was assaulted by a gang in a brutal race attack.

The 21-year-old white victim was walking with his girlfriend on Clarkes Lane, Rochdale, when they were approached by a large group of Asian teenagers.

The group began attacked the couple while shouting vile abuse. Although the 17-year-old girl managed to struggle free, her boyfriend was repeatedly punched and kicked. He suffered a fractured ankle and injuries to his nose and face.

The gang were aged between 16-20. One of the attackers was an older, slim youth, 5ft 8 ins, with short black hair and pointy chin and nose.

The attack was around 8pm on Monday, November 2nd and police have issued an appeal for information now after a two-month investigation failed to track down those responsible.

Det Sgt Andrew Butterworth, of Rochdale CID, said: “The beating this man received was brutal and those responsible should be ashamed of themselves for behaving like a pack of animals.

Anyone with information is being urged to call detectives 0161 856 4644 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

U.S., U.K. close embassies in Yemen as al-Qaeda threatens “all-out war against every crusader on Muhammad’s peninsula on land, air and sea”

It must be some kind of new-fangled idea that this sort of thing could be acceptable, right? Wrong: “I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim” – Muhammad, Sahih Muslim 19.4366.

“US, Britain shut Sanaa embassies over terrorist threat,” from France24, January 3:

AFP - The American embassy in Yemen closed on Sunday in response to ongoing Al-Qaeda threats to attack US interests, an embassy statement said.

“The US Embassy in Sanaa is closed today, January 3, 2010, in response to ongoing threats by Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) to attack American interests in Yemen,” said the statement posted on the embassy’s website.

On Thursday the US mission sent a warden message to American citizens in the country reminding them of the “continuing threat of terrorist actions and violence against Amercian citizens and interests throughout the world.”

AQAP had called on Monday for further attacks on Westerners in the Arabian Peninsula as it claimed the failed Christmas Day attack on a US airliner.

“We call upon every Muslim who cares about his religion and doctrine to assist in expelling the apostasies from the Arabian Peninsula, by killing every crusader who works at their embassies or other places, declare it an all-out war against every crusader on Mohammad’s peninsula on land, air and sea,” said an AQAP statement.

The United States and Britain have agreed to fund special counter-extremism police in Yemen after US President Barack Obama on Saturday for the first time blamed the Al-Qaeda franchise in Yemen for the thwarted attack….
