Ball benefits babies in need of special care
SUTHERLAND Shire Mayor David Redmond has handed over more than $16,700 to Sutherland Hospital.
The money was raised by the 2008 Sutherland Shire Mayoral Debutante Ball and will go towards purchasing a new humidicrib for the special care nursery in the hospital’s maternity unit.
St George and Sutherland shire Leader, 23/07/08
Kudos to Mayor Redmond for such a generous donation that will help to save precious young lives. Let’s hope that Morris Iemma can keep the power on, that is of course, if Morris can keep the maternity unit open. Don’t vote Labor at the forthcoming council elections, they are wrecking NSW. Don’t let them wreck the Shire.
Oh and speaking of Labor, your shire Labor MP’s, being Paul Mcleay, Alison Megarrity and Barry Collier have pledged their support for the venal Iemma administration. It should be no surprise, particuarly coming from Paul Mcleay who is just following in the tradition of his father - “Leaping” Leo Mcleay.
Mcleay senior ( whose inability to operate a pushbike cost Australian tax payers $45,000) was one of the principle figures ( along with Paul Keating) involved in disregarding advice from the Hawke government immigration officials and seeing to it that Sheik Al-Hilaly was allowed to stay in Australia, even though Al-Hilaly was in the country on an expired visa.
The reason why Mcleay and Keating did this was purely from self-interest: they were prepared to sell out the future of this country for cheap and short term electoral gain. The results of their traitorous behaviour has manifested itself in the form of Islamic terrorism against Australians both here and overseas:
Do not vote Labor at the September council elections. They cannot be trusted.
